We spend much of our lives building—careers, homes, savings, reputations, and even churches and ministries. There is nothing inherently wrong with building these things, but Jesus introduces a completely different measurement: Will what you are building matter where you are going?
In this episode, we dive into Matthew 6:19–21 and Jesus' profound contrast between treasures on earth and treasures in Heaven. Jesus isn't asking us to reject our earthly responsibilities or possessions; He is challenging us not to confuse temporary value with eternal value.
Join us as Pastor Florence unpacks what true Kingdom stewardship looks like:
-
Your Home: You can’t take your house with you, but the prayers prayed inside it can influence generations.
-
Your Career: You can’t take your job with you, but treating people with dignity while you work creates a lasting footprint.
-
Your Wealth: You can’t take your money with you, but you can send it ahead by using it to serve others and advance work that matters beyond yourself.
-
Your Purpose in Every Season: A powerful challenge to older believers—never confuse retirement from employment with retirement from your God-given purpose.
Your next great Kingdom investment may not be a program or a project. It may have a name.
Key Takeaway
Big Idea: Earth measures what we accumulate. Heaven examines what we did with what God entrusted to us.
This Week's Kingdom Assignment
Choose one person this week and make one intentional eternal investment in them.
It doesn't have to be complicated—call them, visit them, pray with them, mentor them, forgive them, or share your testimony and the hope you have in Christ.
One person. One investment. One week.
